In partnership with the Columbia Museum of Art, i am art collaborated with Yuhas and Dancers, The Johnson Company and BluPrintX to create two pieces of dance works in response to visual art pieces in the collections gallery. These pieces were that was performed live on Boyd Plaza in November and December of 2019. Using i am art’s Triple R creative process to frame the conversations around the visual art work as we work towards creating the dance pieces.
We have worked with Jai-ann Carter with Collab Content to document the process and back-end. We will be premiering the full documentary and having a panel discussion with a Q&A at the Columbia Museum of Art March 5th at 6:30 pm.
